In December 2004 I had sex with a prostitute. It was the first time I had sex with anyone; I was aged 26. The experience opened me up sexually, and I had a 'proper' sexual relationship not long after. However, I do wish I did not enter the adult world in this way; indeed I experienced a full year of self-recrimination and beating myself down. In my country prostitution is legal so it was only my own conscience to deal with. About three months ago I confessed to my best friend and my parents. All three people were fine about it and I still have their support. If I had my time again I would not do this because I don't think its worth it. I would play more sports and pick up girls the conventional way!
