Texting someone I don't know

So i got this number from some person right, and we started texting and i'm diggin' the way the person is; But we live kinda far from each other. We send pics(fully clothed because I'm not stupid enough to send nudes) and this person is really nice and shit. Sooo eventually this person says that it loves me and im like okay ily too but i dont really think i do, i just felt kind of like i had to say it. And now i feel bad, but i also have doubts that this person is real. I mean i know i shouldnt trust strangers but i felt comfortable with this person. Anyway i dont think i would actually go out with this person, i guess i just like texting people. but like idk whether or not to trust this person. like what if it starts to stalk me you know? i need advice because i scare myself when i think about this too much. and i keep referring to this "person" as a person because i'm paranoid that it will read this. Idk but can anyone give me advice??? because im clueless as to what to do next. Thanks!
