i had phoned up tenant loans to get a loan for 4k... at application stage they had told me that i had been accepted for this loan thand that the money would be in my account with in the next week. Now this never happened. i called back and was told that they were a loan broker and that it was a guarenteed loan i was getting and all i had to do was pay a fee of nearly £50 and the money would be in my account.... stupidily i did this. they then sent me information of two companies that would give me a loan of which neither accepted me. I was lead to believe that tennant loans would be giving me a loan for £4000 as the call was recorded and i was guareenteed this from them. i have called back multiple times and they tell me that customer services are dealing with it and then customer services are telling me that applications are dealing with it and they will not allow me to speak to a manager to get this sorted. I think that this is false advertising and theift. Is it not by law that if a company promises ans guarentees that you will get something that they have to then give you it....
