Here is one you might enjoy...YUK We moved to this location in June..... the place we moved to had a phone line put in around 1991. this property is owned by a rancher and it was his wife who when she moved here had the phone line installed...She lived here for about 10 years. And was later put in a senior's home due to illness. This property stayed empty for about 10 years.. Once moved Telus tells us that we have to pay the balance of $540.00 owing which is $411.00 or something like that. Telling us that when the owner moved on this property she failed to pay that whole bill.. They are now making us responsible for someone elses's bill although we are just renting here. Now the owner of this property has more money than God..And I would be hard pressed to believe they never paid that bill..And how did the wife continue to have phone service if her line installation bill was never paid? And why would Telus not contact the person who ordered the line installed to pay up. Or lose service? The son finally said ta hell with it and paid the $400.00 to Telus..How can companies bill you for a bill that you had absolutely nothing to do with..Our names were NEVER on that freaking bill. We weren't even in this area in 1991. or whenever the lady moved in here. Yet 'TELUS' wanted to make us responsible..and they told us if we didn't pay this $400.00 bill that we would lose our phone service. GAWD do I hate those people..they are vial, communistic depraved turds.
