Tattoos on women

I do not like tattoos on women. Maybe others do or don't as well and that's fine... To each their own, but in my own personal opinion as it pertains to what attractiveness is to me myself... Tattoos look cheap, trampy, low class and detract from a woman's natural beauty with the exception of perhaps the small dainty well-placed feminine ones that are not accompanied by 12 others or ridiculous body piercings... That I can tolerable. Otherwise they scream "I have no self-esteem, no self respect and look to others to give me attention." They have no real artistic value like so many try and claim. They aren't needed to remember your kid's names or favourite lines from a book, so why look like a piece of pulp fiction or Lady Gaga with hideous text all over. NEVER has anyone of sound mind ever said... "Wow, that tattoo made her look so much prettier!" But the opposite is very true. I think a woman who refuses to coat herself in bad ink comes across as stronger, more intelligent and of higher self-esteem and self-respect... The sort of woman who is emotionally mature and capable of taking care of herself, kids, etc. As I said a tattoo that is small and girly and not in a stupid obnoxious place can be very okay and wouldn't cause issues for me... Anything else and I'd be very turned off. To all those women individual and strong enough to be natural... I salute you!

I am the HR person for the company I work for. It is an unwritten policy that we not hire women with tats. In the small amount of discussion that I have had with the CEO regarding policy on tattoos, he simply stated that it seems trashy and wouldn't represent our company in a desirable fashion. I, personally, am disgusted by tattoos, whether they are inked on a man or woman. Some say it's art, but I think it's a ploy to get attention.

My GF has only one small rose tattoo just below her navel. It's something nice to see as I am working my way down to the best flower of all.
