
TalkTalk Broadband

I signed up on August 23rd 2006 with TalkTalk for a combined service of phone calls and broadband for one price. They told me my phone line will be up and running on the 5th September and broadband will be running for me 10 to 15 days later. My landline went ahead as planned, I transfared my migration code from AOL to TalkTalk as they requested and waited, and waited,and waited. The 20th of September arrived and still no TalkTalk broadband,so,I called them and they told me it was to be connected on the 28th October. Dissapointed, again I waited and still nothing happened,the 28th Oct came and went. I have since spoken to 20 TalkTalk customer service people from around the globe telling them that as TalkTalk has broken their contract then I am changing my provider,all but 2 of them either left me hanging on the line while they made further enquiries ,and never came back, or cut me off all togeather. As for the other 2, well they promised to sort me out with a migration code ASAP, but they are consistant because still, nothing has happened. On thhis note that I urge anyone who may be thinking of entering into a contract with the Carphone Warehouse based TalkTalk group, PLEASE DON'T, I do believe you will regret it.
