
TalkAmerica will not refund OUR Money

Talk America - Rip OFF Phone Service Provider Our Company (Wang Security) has been a customer of Talk America for more than 3 years, and in which our Local and toll free numbers were switched over to Talk America from other service provider. Until year ago, (Nov 30,1005) we were contacted Talk America representatives on different occasions about an overpaid $600.00 check that mistaken send out by our secretary and we would like a refund amount back to us. They then promised us to check into this issue and never refund any amount that owing to us but crediting to their invoices Oct/04/05. After numerous phones calls, speaking to reps that claim to have this refund taken care of, we are continuously receiving invoices from Talk America with negative amount and deduction monthly service fees. We then decided to cancel our service with Talk America, meanwhile, we still responsible for charges until the service was discontinued. Over months after the cancellation was requested and we have to gave up our local Phone number (Unable to switch due to unavailable/blocked is that legal?); in order to get our toll free number to other service provider (We surely were having a hard time to cancel the service.) Finally, our final invoice was in Feb/04/06 showed an amount owing to us. I called customer service again on 10/13/06 and spoke to an agent (Miguel ID# 12462) who was UNABLE to pull up a long overdue refund account. He informed us that since our account was closed he couldn't access to it and again refer us to his corporate office; they will email us with the status. It's has been 5 days, again, like every other time, we've been tried to contacted them to demand for our refund money and dissatisfied with their customer service and ABSOLUTEDLY there is NO RESPONSE . The only resolution the Reps would send/refer to their Manager/auditing department. NONE of any attempted to resolve/complied to us. Overall this is definitely a company that does not value their customers and services are definitely overrated. The courteousness and professionalism of staff is very poor as well. I would never go back to Talk America nor would I refer anyone else to them. I strongly encourage consumers to seek other providers over Talk America. In result we would like Talk America to REFUND our account in full, and any amount that still owe to us and suffer damage/loss business due to unable to reclaim our local phone number. I'm representing our company, and do seeking for a legal advices and/or combine all our complains to a class action legal judgments again Talk America. Please be Advice Timothy Nguyen CEO-WSPinc.
