talk amer.shtting down serv

i notified talk amer. over a week ago i wanted to discontinue my service then they said they would charge me so i emailed back and said forget it then. i will keep my service and don't disconitue it. now today i receive an email saying they are going to shut it off mon. and i owe no money my mother is ill and i must have phone service at all times. now as of mon. i will have none. they claim they can't cancel the order i let them know plenty of time ahead. this is a telephone emergency.
