I was thinking that if my love for you were part of nature, something that you could stand by, or near... it might be like a river. You see, it's like this... a river's water is constantly running... and always in one direction regardless of what kind of wind blows. It flows faster and harder on rainy days, and is calm and almost beautiful on gorgeous days. You can hear it, even though you might not be right next to it, and you can feel it's energy from the same distance. When up close enjoying it's beauty and wonder, you tend to forget whatever else is going on around you... you could say you lose yourself in it. Lastly, if you were to jump both feet into the deep end, you would surely be swept away... and that my love, is how I felt the first time you told me that you loved me... swept away.
