I used to be depressed all through my teenage years. I tried to commit suicide many times, thinking that I never wanted to be in this world in the first place. Everyone told me "things get better", and I hated them for it, and never believed it. Now I'm 24, engaged, and have two wonderful stepsons, and I thank God every day that I somehow managed to hold on.
I get extremely depressed too almost to the place you are at but I refuse to hurt others like those who hurt me. Killing myself will cause much pain so I allow it to pass and it really does get better. Physical pain hurts much less than in your mind but when I walk outside and stare up my pain is reduced every time.
