Stolen property

After checking into the Westin Rio Mar resort in PR we found that our camera was stolen out of a backpack we had left in our room. The security manager said it was our fault because we hadn't locked it up in the safe. I told them I didn't think anyone was going to go through my luggage once it was in the room.
