stag night lap dance

I recently married a wonderful man. However, he has just been on a stag weekend and they all went to a lap dancing bar. He is adamant he did not pay for someone to dance for him and said they just had a drink at the bar. I feel hurt and insulted and I am already struggling with my body image, so this hasn't helped. He seems happy in this marriage, as I am, apart from this niggle. I sometimes wonder if I'm overreacting and afraid to discuss my feelings with my husband incase he tells me to stop being jealous.

Speaking as a guy, not all of us head out to strip-clubs and do the 'lap-dance' thing while there. There are those of us who only go because it was a group decision and we don't want to be the one to fuck up the vibe of the night by being the one guy to say no. That said, if you have a genuine problem with your body image, you should talk to your husband about it. We're men, not mind readers, he went out to have a fun evening with his friends and probably has little idea that it has affected you in such a manner.
