when a company, CARQUEST AUTO PARTS, fires someone why can't they tie up loose ends emidiately. they know they are going to fire you in advance,so have all the paper work ready! my husband was fired on monday, it's now friday. well there is nothing stating that he has been fired so he can file for his unemployment insurance. we asked his former boss if it's even been mailed yet,he said no! well it's labor day weekend and we know it won't be received before tuesday. it can take up to 3 weeks to start receiving unemployment checks,that already makes it a month maybe longer if they keep pussy footing around! on top of that, his pay is posted on the 15th & the 30th of each month. guess what? it's not there. he asked his former boss about this, he said he would call him back and let him know why he hasn't been paid yet. he didn't! so, this 'FAMILY FRIENDLY' company is nothing but hog wash. when you fire a person who has a family to support and you drag things out like this, you are 'FAMILY FRIENDLY'! when you do it this way, you have fired the ENTIRE family. we will be out on the streets is it takes too long. once you get behind on your bills and it's taken care of like this it is hard if not impossible to get back on track. well that's 'THE CARQUEST WAY'! THEY HAVE NO MORALS OR ETHICS. THE TRUE REPUBLICAN COMPANY. JUST PLAIN HEARTLESS AND THEY HAVE NO CONSCIOUS. GUARANTEE THEY SLEEP WELL EVERY NIGHT!
