This has been bothering me since yesterday. A friend confided in me yesterday to spanking their children. It made me feel ill all over. I keep seeing the faces of those darling children and then think of them being spanked. I can't get these images out of my mind. Violence isn't going to teach them anything but to be violent. I've always been told that abused children grow up to be abusive parents too. It pains me to think of these adorable girls growing up thinking this is the right way to treat their children.

You are an idiot. Let your friend parent the way they want to parent. They probably know a lot better than you.
