sloppy wife

my wife is so sloppy. She leaves dishes all over the house, leaves used kleenex on her nightstand, leaves junk all over the kitchen counter, and never cleans the house unless someone is coming over. I have called her on it repeatedly, but she just says she will do better and nothing happens. I love her, but I am sick of doing all the work. What should I do? I feel something drastic has to happen?
