Slap Bracelets

Just recently, at our elementary school, there was a child that had their face cut by a slap bracelet. The end of the cover had come apart and the metal inside was exposed. It sliced the child's face open. These are being sold in our school stores and given away as prizes for fundraisers. Why aren't we paying closer attention to the contents of toys that our children are receiving.
