I personally love to sing and dance and act, Im actually good, and I 'act' in a local haunted house during the month of October & Im one of the top actors. BUT my parents are against and I don't even know how to start a career in this or if I even can.

The elites make the big money, true, but there is a huge infrastructure of working actors and dancers that have little to do with the elites. My wife and I have seen numerous young actors taking courses, beating the pavement, going to auditions, and getting jobs where we see them on TV (usually TV episodes rather than movies, but you have to start somewhere). My advice: get a day job to support your passion until your passion can support you. And if it doesn't, you have something fun to do when you aren't making a living. Seems like almost everyone in LA is doing something creative on the side while they work their day jobs. Why not?

If you love it, do it. I assume you are not a legal adult yet, but once you are, you can do what you want anyway. Make no mistake, making a living doing what you love in the creative arts is not easy, but if you don't do what you love and you're creative, you'll be absolutely miserable in whatever else you do. You will most likely need a day job of some sort to support your passion, so pacify your parents in this regards, put a roof over your head, and feed your stomach. Art will feed your soul. There are acting courses available and workshops, so plan on attending so you can get pointers on what you need to do for a career. Auditioning is the usual route. You already know what you love, so you are way ahead of most people. Craft your life around your love and the rest will follow. (Until recently, I lived in LA and know the drill.)

you got to join the 'Elite' if you want to have a chance at making it in tinsel town.
