Sick Puppy from Pet Store

I am just beside myself. I purchased a puppy from a local pet store in the mall. The puppy cost me $1700.00 and it's been two weeks and I have spent that much in vet bills over the last two weeks, the puppy nearly died and is still in the hospital. I can't believe these places are allowed to sell sick dogs to people. I don't care what type of reputation these people have. The only good news is that they are being (SO FAR) very nice about the situation and has even discussed paying some of the vet bills, but we shall see what the out come is....
