shoddy tv

i bought a PHILIPS 32' crt tv 2 years ago for $5oo. a small chip in the power supply went bad--a few bucks at most to purchase individually. the service man told me that PHILIPS would not sell the chip by it self rather i would have to buy a power supply module for $289--needless to say i junked the tv and will never buy another PHILIPS PRODUCT again.
