My husband is self employed and did some work for a 'friend' who got flooded. He has been self employed for 22 years and ALWAYS gets paid upon job completion, he did work for this friend beforeand was paid when done. On this occasion he worked on a Sunday so his friend could have a party in his home the following week...well when he was finished he handed him the bill for slightly under $1000.00 and was told he'd have to wait until his 'friend' got his insurance check. It's been almost 2 months and still no payment. Some friend. My husband is pissed and we need the money..why should we have to wait when this idiot got everything done right away? He's got 1 week and we are taking him to the district justice, next time he gets flooded he can find another 'friend' to do his work
