Sheriffs With An Attitude

After dropping a friend off tonight (July 4th), I had an encounter with an @$$HOLE SHERIFF!!! The way he spoked to me...no, wait, YELLED at me was completely RUDE and DISRSPECTFUL. He was yelling at me all because while he was directing traffic (with a flashlight no less) I thought he was signaling for me to go around his car, ya know...like 'Go straight now' and so I started to drive between him and his car. Thats when he blows his whistle and bangs on my winshield saying 'HEY HEY HEEEYYYY WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!! DO YOU NOT SEE ME STANDING HERE? DO YOU NOT SEE MY PATROL CAR?? STOP YOUR CAR!!' So I sat there thinking 'Great, I'm gonna get a ticket for something I honestly didn't seem to understand.' So he comes back to my window saying,'WHY ARE YOU DRIVING THROUGH HERE? DIDNT YOU SEE ME STANDING HERE?!' I said 'Yes sir but I thought you were telling me to go ahead and go straight.' Of course he lashes BACK at me with 'NO NO DO YOU SEE ME STANDING HERE? DO YOU SEE MY PATROL CAR?!' So I said politely 'Yes sir I did, I'm sorry' and he was like 'OK BACK UP AND GO THROUGH THE PARKING LOT!!!' Needless to say I cried all the way home because he humiliated me and hurt my feelings so bad. I mean...ya know maybe if he was using something a little more practical other than a FLASHLIGHT then maybe I would've been better able to SEE how he was directing traffic. Not to mention that he was standing alllllll the way on the other side of the left lane, so I thought he was making room for cars to go through. But whatever.....point is, he was a tad bit too angry for that. People DO make mistakes, my goodness. I guess we can't all be perfect like a Sherriff. But I mean, who can I complain to? I'm not even sure I could because I dont know his name or anything. Thanks for letting me vent. . .
