Shaws Sucks

I work for Shaws supermarket in Stowe. Shaw's itself is ok to work for, they have great benefits, etc, but the Stowe store is horrible. The tourists are nasty, and we are forced to put up with them. A lot of them are stupid and cant seem to read. They wait at the door for the store to open, and stand there looking at it stupidly when it is locked at night. And I work in the deli... there is a LOT to do in that deli cause we are also the bakery. They dont seem to get that we do not come in til 7 when the store opens. They want bread and doughnuts at 7:05. And we cant get our freight out most of the time cause the people are all over the place. The store itself is VERY small, not much room to move, and they complain about that also. Information for people coming to visit Stowe, VT... GO SHOP IN WATERBURY. They are a real Shaws.

I used to work for Shaw's but was fired because of my age and disability! Both violations of the law. They even submitted falsified documents to unemployment to beat me out of that! Fortunately they'd forgotten that I had my own copies! HIGH prices, NO customer service and the most incompetent management I've EVER seen! Fraud and perjury equals lawsuits on my behalf, and fines and criminal charges from my Uncle Sam! What a STUPID company. If it weren't for their giant parent company Supervalu, they couldn't even pay their light bill!
