Shaw Carpet is not standing behind their product. Our carpet is alittle over a year old and has developed a term called 'corn rowing'. Shaw tries to say it is a condition inherient to that type of carpet. It is simular to a short shag - twisted fibers not loops. In traffic areas it gets these valleys in the pile about a inch apart. Vaccuming helps for about an hour but carpet is soon back to the corn rows. My carpet store is standing behind their reputation and going to replace the carpet with no charge & our choice of carpet. If we pick something more expensive we'd just pay the difference. No installation fee. Great store! Poor Carpet!
