How do you get over someone that you can't go a day without thinkin about? I was with this guy for 7 years and then we broke up because our fights became domestic violence. My heart hurts so bad. I've even moved on to a new relationship and this guy is so perfect to me. Buys me anything I want, shows me so much love and affection yet I'm still missing this asshole that treated me like crap. I feel sick without my ex. I know it's wrong of me to want him back and it may sound crazy but I love that man. I gave him everything. Here I have this nice man tellin me he loves me and wants to marry me and start a family with me yet I feel so empty inside. I don't feel love any more. I don't feel hate I don't feel anything accept for confused, abandonment and pity for myself. Is this normal? I don't feel suicidal but I feel sick emotionally and spiritually. Please be kind with your words. If you feel the need to say something that isn't very nice just remember I'm only human. Just seeking some kind words and encouragement. I know I did the right thing by leaving him just need a lil strength not to look back.

A very understandable emotion, my dear girl. I know the feeling. I had a chance at the girl (I ever do so happen to be a human of male stature) of my dreams. Dark skin, beautiful brown eyes, cute voice, cute laugh, her face seemed to be chiseled directly out of the material of the golden throne of Zeus. after a while I had found out that I accidentally went out with her BEST FRIEND. Now I ever do so happen to be how Americans would say, screwed. Not quite the same scenario, yet it is the same feeling.

i am going through the same thing. May be we can help each other through it. i know he is no good , but all i see and think of is him. My hope is time. i think time either makes us forget or move on but never really heals. Our fights turned into DV as well resulting in a restraining order.
