To think this guy was almost president. Senator Kerry is a jackass. What an insult to all the guys younger than me who got their legs blown off by cowards in Iraq who stuff bombs in roadkill. What an insult to the men older than me who must not have been that 'uneducated', being officers. And lets not forget the young women who came back KIA at the age of 19, 20; who will never know the joy of motherhood, or the fulfillment of growing old with a spouse. Someone will say, 'well, they wouldn't even be there if President Bush hadn't sent them off to war.' I suppose not. But they are there, dammit. So let's all reassure them and their families what self sacrificing badasses they are, instead of taking lightly the fact that these men and women are dodging bullets everyday while everyone back home bitches about the line at the supermarket.
