Sears is absoultely not my grand parents or parents sears they have horrible cusyomer service I bought a pretty higher end dryer and not only did the delivery people ruin the new dryer they mdid that by ramming it into the enrty way door breaking the lock, scratching a good 5-7 inch of the machine> when they disconnected the old gas dryer they mangled the pipe to it.(It was old but still worked I was planning on putting it somewhere else or sell it ) I worked hard to finally have a new washer and dryer..and for once they were going to match I just in Feb.purchased the washer .. well that was the delivery when I tried to call the local store> The sales associate picked up the phone said there is no one here and hung up..( I recognized the voice ) So I went to the store asked for the managment office...That is another thing in it's own right..now when I went downstairs to the office the sales person who sold it to was there she was fixing another mistake..now she knew me because she had said I had gone to school with her daughter so she should reconize me again within 4 days ..before I set out for the store the delivery people tried to shove it into place before I could see it but I guess since I was just the other side of the steel door that shook and rumbled when they hit it. I open it and popped around too fast for them.. I said that didn't sound too good ...you just broke the lock on the door.( the lock was parallel to the door) one guy said no no it's fine as he pushed the lever back to it's once natural position...and I said there is a huge scatch on the machine.. he said of well it's a tight space.and he tried to shove it quickly into place..I called someone to help me out cause obviously it was going to be some sort of discrepancy here .. He then offered to call the warehouse who said who said it would take @ two weeks for the exchange..well not for nothin' but if it could be delivered in 3 days' I asked for 4 then why is it going to take two weeks? (I bought it on thur afternoon they delivered it tues.) so tues to fri.?? sounds lodgical to me..So back to when I went to the store I did not yell and scream I handed the (assistant) manager my reciept and card and simply said I want to return this come get your machine..oh yes by the way I told the delivery people to put it back ont hhe truck before they go because I am not going accept it beat up there is no need to leave it. If I need I will use the old one , not knowing that theyhad rendered it useless. They insisted that it had to stay there until they delivered the new one...Also I should mention that the washer which is the same machine, weight , size.. got in without a scratch or dent nothing was harmed . I know that the people they contract out to deliver seem to be the main problem but It was also the sales associate who now wanted nothing to do with me , oh yes that added a haul away fee when I had said that I was not sure about it ..when I saw it I went back and told her that I was not going to have it hauled away she said ok well let them deliver it and then come back between 5-6p the next night and then the charges would be adjusted. Oh my there is sooo sooo much more but you et the jist
