
Sears Service Sucks!

I've had a service contract with Sears for 6 years. They talked me into renewing it in August 2006. I had my washer serviced on 8/31/06, the day my initial service plan expired. Supposedly the washer was fixed. Two weeks ago, September 28, 2006 almost a month to the day. The washer started doing the same thing again! Called Service Dept again. Service man came October 10, 2006 and said it was a different problem!!!! He it was the motor and it was not a stocked part and it would have to be order and that he would be back on friday to install the new motor, he didn't say what time, so friday 0ct.13, 2006 I called the serice dept to see what time he was coming. They stated that he wouldn't be out until Monday, Oct 16,2006 and that he found out that he could get the part locally. IF THAT WAS THE CASE, WHY COULDN'T HE HAVE COME BACK FRIDAY AS HE HAD STATED AND WHY DID HE NOT CALL OR HAVE THE SERVICE DEPT. CALL TO LET US KNOW THAT HE WOULD NOT BE THERE FRIDAY AS PROMISED! CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS, AT SEARS AND MOST PLACES YOU GO TODAY! WELL, AS I AM TYPING THIS I GET A CALL FROMT HE SERVICE TECH STATING THAT HE MIS-DIAGNOSED AND IT IS NOT THE MOTOR AND NOW THERE IS ANOTHER PROBLEM. ANOTHER PART IS THE TROUBLE, A PART THAT TAKES 10 DAY TO ORDER AND RECEIVE. MY QUESTION TO HIM WAS AND WHAT DO WE DO IN THE MEAN TIME??? HE HAD NO ANSWER....... SO AGAIN I WILL CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE, TO ONLY GET ANOTHER APOLOGY.
