We purchased a Kenmore 18.3 cu ft top freeze refrigerator exactly one year.Sears would repair the refrigerator. They said it was out of warranty. When we called the repairman, it was the fan that was defective. The plastic casing on the windings were melted and was a potential fire hazard. Then we found out the Sear purchased this refrigerator from General Electric and placed their name on it. Our repair cost us $280.00 plus the $150 in groceries that went bad due to a defective product.
