There's a song by John Lennon. I think it's called Happy Christmas, War Is Over. In the song is a line that says, 'another year over, what have you done?' Well what have I done? Well I've met some great people and some really fantastic people. You know who you are. Also I've found friendship where I had none. I've been down to the lowest point in my life and I've been up to the higest point. I've rediscovered life. I feel sometimes that C. Dickens wrote 'The Christmas Carol' just for me. I see myself as Ebeneezer. I look back with the spirit of Christmas past and see me as a young man full of hopes and dreams. I see me now with the spirit of Christmas present, a workaholic with nothing but the dream of turning a wheel. And I see myself in the future with the spirit of Christmas's to come! I see that grave in an empty field, surrounded by long meadow grass, a lone tree standing in the corner. It's leaves shed as it's winter in my vision as it is in my coffin. And no-one standing at my graveside as they lower me down. Even the priest keeps a distance as if fearful my lonely exsistance my be catching. Seeping from my burial ground and up into his heart. But I have the power to change things before it's too late. I'm going to make a list of things to be done. I may post them but I'm not sure if I should. I'm going to make sure that I'm not buried with no mourners present. It's going to be tough but I reckon I can do it. Good luck to me. And more importantly, good luck to you all in 2007. I hope it's as successful as my year will be.
