The first part of june I bought a brand new Honda Foreman 500 for work purposes. The first two and a half months it preformed well and I was happy with the bike.I serviced it on time or ahead of time and always had everything checked out. After these first couple of months the problems began.First off, third gear in the transmission quit.I called the dealership that day (which was a saturday)and told them of my problem and that I needed to make an appointment to bring it in monday. Well they refused to make an appiontment for monday or any other day. They told me to just bring it in and I informed them that I had to have it back by wednsday and they said they could do that.Well I loaded it up and drove sixty miles to the dealership only to be informed they could not get to it by then.It put me in a terrible bind not having it for work and I told them this and to my surprise they did not care.To make along story short I was to pick it up yesterday( 8-15-06).When I called they told me that they had the transmission fixed but they have found a problem with the front end!!THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE FRONT END WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF ALMOST THREE WEEKS AGO!!!!!I called honda and bypassed the dealership and to my amazment honda is sticking up for the dealership.Basiclly I am going to be paying for a new bike but the bike I will have will be a rebuilt one.Every thing is under warranty so it will not cost me any thing but thats not the point.I bought a new bike not a rebuilt one and I think honda should give me anew bike although they don't see it that way.In short if you are in the market for a new four wheeler go with a Yamaha.
