I bought a house and had all the proper inspections done. After moving into my new home I found I had very little water from my well. My family of five cannot wash clothes, we can only take showers by turning the water off and on as we soap up, we cannot flush the toilets every time or we will run out of water. My bathrooms smell horrible because of the constant urine smell. Not to mention I paid for a four bedroom home and upon further inspection I found that the fourth bedroom was never permitted and that permit was denied because the septic system cannot support for four bedrooms. That is why when we do run the washer the exess water overflows into the toilet and comes up on the floor. I also found at the health dept. that my well water has coliforms and is not drinkable. Yet my family has been drinking it this whole time. It is going to cost at least $10000.00 to fix these issues and I sunk my money into the down payment for this house. I have consulted several attorneys, who all say they don't want to take my case because they don't want to make enemies in this area. I've called the Board of Realtors to complain, I consulted with the attorney who handled the closing and nothing. I even consumer complaints, the BBB, and the attorney general in my state. Everyone gives the runaround. I don't understand how this could happen. A business has certain legal obligations, and I paid for these services and was given false information. The previous owner obviously didn't disclsose the water problem, and yet nothing can be done. I am so angry over this. UGHHHHH!!!!!
