Scottishness

I have lived in Scotland and, often, when tuning in for a favourite regular R4 programme, have found it changed to be 'something of more interest to Scotland'. Therefore, when new posts such as 'Desrt Island Discs' become available, why not an English man/woman. Kirsty is very nice but so many of us are sick of Scottish voices, some of which are impossible to understand. Today I am ill at home. At 1100 there was a prog. about oil & The Shetlands, followed imm. by a silly play, AGAIN about Scottish people. Let them have their own programmes - as I said, from experience, they are rarely interested in ours.
