I am writing this letter in regards to the ever escalating situation that I am having with the Children's Educational Foundation of canada in Burlington, Ontario. My parents had invested thousands dollars into this education development program, only to have it denied from us under false reasoning and ignorance towards our concerns. This has occurred before, exactly one year ago when I was denied the amount to pay for my schooling at Mohawk College, after numerous attempts to get an explanation and consultation from the school lawyer, we we're finally told that the money would be deferrreduntil August 1, 2006. We we're not losing any money, and it was promised to my mother and I for the present school year. Well I am half-way through my first semester and not a single dollar has come in. So here I am, this letter, while my mother is again making meetings with lawyers and trying to get a hold of the Education Trust Fund by making daily calls and leaving messages, only to be ignored and unreturned. This has caused great stress not only on my thoughts of not being able to pay off my school year, and eventually drop out with no other choice, but has created even more stress on my mother who has to deal with the troubles of finances with this 'professional' and 'responsible' program. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated as to what action we could take to help solve this mess. I am not writing this in search of sympathy, it is to raise awareness on the false claims that the Education Trust Fund makes and expose their money-laundering system.
