Scared of Google Adwords!

SomeoneShouldWriteaLetter! Google Adwords could be my rags or riches! With click fraud I am scared half to death to take the dive into a potentially ugly hole. I have a great idea, I spent my savings for professional web design and services and my idea is fantastic. I have a very affordable service and it promotes fairness. I started my site because I was tired of big business taking advantage of consumers. With the average American who has a great idea, a great work ethic or a problem and the rich are squashing them like a bug. Don't get me wrong, of course I am out to make a buck like everybody else. Here's the gist: I signed up for Google Adwords 2 days ago. It accepted everything and I was able to bid .06-10 for most of my keywords. I woke the next morning to see the majority of my keywords rejected due to low bid. The acceptable bid amount more than tripled, some required 20x my original bid. I read in a site-help thread that I should start all over, deleting all keywords and starting over. I have just done that and now bids required are $5.00 - $10.00!!!! This is crazy! I am quite taken aback and am feeling scammed.They got my $5!!! I wonder how many five dollar bills they've tucked into that deep pocket of theirs. I can't even get on the playing field! Keep in mind there are only 2-3 other side ads and 1-2 blue ads(to top ad) for like businesses. Most or tons have 3x more ads overall. A click doesn't mean a sale. $5 a click???? Are you kidding me? Of course I could take the risk, but I may not have the funds to keep the lights on! I have vowed to keep my prices low so people can actually use it on a regular basis. I want return customers. SomeoneShouldWriteaLetter, really, someone should!
