Scalp burn after using Generic Value Product Root

After I purchased a 'root lifter' Generic Value Product from Sallys Beauty Supply I experienced 'weeping' and burning of my scalp. This products instructions said to spray the hair product directly onto the scalp. After the burning, I lost a large portion of my hair. I had to have multiple injections directly into my head to try to get the scalp to regrow hair. Has anyone else had a problem with this product? Thanks for the help. Sherry
