I am 13 years old and my older brother will soon be 15. He has always been the typical brother, fights with me, the usual. Recently, only about 2 months ago, my brother and I found marijuana in our parents closet. He was very surprised, and after we found it I couldn't get it out of my head for a very long time. My parents are really good people, I never would have suspected it. Eventually I got over it. It really doesn't bother me anymore like it used to. My friend slept over last night, and when her dad and brother(Same age as my own brother) came to pick her up, my mom happened to be gardening, and was cutting up a large piece of wood in the ground when her chainsaw broke. Lucky for her, my friend's father had a chainsaw in the back of his truck. While he helped her cut up the log, I went inside and hung out for a little while longer, her brother stayed in the car, and I had no idea where my brother was. Eventually, my mom and her dad had finished, and they all left. I should probably inform you that my friend's brother does drugs. My parents are aware of this, because my brother has told them in the past. Her brother was even caught before by his own parents. After the family had left, I went back to cleaning the house like I had been doing before, and my brother began to cook dinner on the grill outside of the house. After about an hour, I had finished. I began to walk outside, to find my brother standing by the grill. In his left hand, was a lit joint. I stood and stared at it. There wasn't any type of astounded look on my face, not that I remember of. My brother looked at me and quickly hid the weed. Knowing what I wanted to do, I looked away as if I never even noticed the marijuana, and I began talking to him normally, telling him not to mess up the house because I just cleaned it, and other stuff. He obviously looked relieved. I could tell he thought I never saw it. I'm trying to figure out what happened. Either my brother wanted to try weed, and ask my friend's brother for a joint or something of the such. OR, he has been doing weed for a long time now, and I never realized it. After crying and throwing up a few times,(please don't judge me, i'm only 13 and I was and still am really startled.) I decided to write it on this website. I really need some advice on what to do now. I already know that i'm not going to tattle on him to my parents, but should I talk to him about it? Please don't tell me to talk to a friend about it. I have already told on friend I can trust, and I really don't want to tell anyone else. Also, don't tell me to make an appointment with a therapist. To do that, I would have to ask my parents to set one up for me, and drive me. Then, they would ask WHY I want a therapist. I'm really stuck right now and I need advice!! Please help A.S.A.P.
