Samsung light engine failure

My Samsung 56' DLP light engine failed after 15 months, My cost $ 1,100.00, Samsung advised they are not having a problem, yet there Service Rep advised me he had replaced 5-6 in the last several months, I also just had a neighbor replace his unit, Samsung still states they are not having a problem ??????????
