rude clerks

MAn!! I'm so sick of RUDE retail clerks...it seems they're just about everywhere you go. I returned a metal shelf to Home Depot because it was poorly manufactured and the pieces didn't fit together properly. This little female clerk said 'what's the matter with it?' I said 'the pieces don't fit together properly.' She said 'well, we've never had one of these come back.' I said 'well I guess you can't say that anymore, jokingly!' All the pieces were loose in the shopping cart because the box was torn, so she called a supervisor over and told him that she couldn't tell if all the pieces were there. They talked under their breath...you know, kinda rude like maybe I wanted to keep a piece of their crappy shelf for some unknown reason. Anyway the guy said 'just RVSP it' or something like that, and he walked away. Never said Hello, I'm sorry for your trouble or kiss my ass...he never even looked at me. The girl turned and played with her cash register for a while then threw down the receipt and pen for me to sign...I'm not kidding yes she threw it down on the counter. While I was signing I said 'you seem upset,' of course she said 'I'm not Upset.' I said 'just an observation but maybe you should consider a job not working with the public. You don't seem to like them very much.' yes I know, I shouldn't have said it but it just came out. In spite of trying to put together a crappy shelf system in Surprise Arizona in 100 degree plus heat, I was having a pretty nice day until I went back there. Oh yeah, one more thing, the credit for the shelf didn't even show up on my statement! I'll tell you what though, the folks are a lot nicer at Lowes...
