Like to advise accordionist not to buy the new Roland VR-7 Accordion. You cannot get service in the USA unless you send the accordion to Los Angles. and then in the owners manual 'if the accordion loses it's programing while in transit, they are no responsible and you would have to buy another accordion' Don't waste your money. Even if you contact Roland directly, they are so arrogant you can get no help. It is an accordion that is slanted to the European market and is programmed for that market. Who in the US uses a mandolin to accompany them??? The orchestral sounds of the mandolin and piano are weak and unless you use an amp in conjunction with the box when you are playing you can't hear them. If they would have made a Generic box, it could have been programmed for the US and we could have used it to our advantage. It is a very heavy box, and the owners manual is written in Italianish and you spend more time paging back and forth through the manual then programming. It is very un-orgtqnized. Stay away from it, because you won't get the help you need. I have purschased 3 units from Roland over the years and have yet to use one or even get any decent help on any one. This box is no exception
