Someday, somewhar, th' owny of a rock garden is a-gonna wake up an' reckanize rocks doesn't grow. ah know. ah tried raisin' a b'der once, but ah didn't even git enny buds. ah reckon someone sh'd invent a special chemical thet c'd be mixed into clay an' cuz it t'harden into a rock an' expan' slowly when exposed t'water an' sunlight. This hyar w'd be a great boon t'gardeners who kin't keep thin's alive. Wif chemically treated rocks, yo' start out wif stuff thass already daid, an' it'll grow ennyway. Of course, disposin' of rocks thet git too trimenjus fo' th' garden'd be a problem, on account o', fine, yo' kin't exackly chop a rock up an' dump it into a beef stew. ah reckon whut ah w'd does, on account o' their voloom'd allus be increasin' but their total mass'd stay th' same, is let them grow until th' wind blew them away.
