The ' Game Stop ', a place to buy new and used video games and systems, ripped me off! Every game has a price sticker. The name of the game and the price are clearly marked on each sticker so you can't switch them. I chose a used game marked $6.99 and one marked $9.99. I didn't notice it at the time but when I got home and looked at my reciept I was charged $9.99 for each game. I called the store and they said to bring in the games and reciept back. I showed the clerk and he said he would give me back my money and I should choose a different game. I didn't want a different game. I wanted that one. He said that it was $9.99 reguardless what the sticker said because the company changes the prices daily. He wouldn't refund the over charge. That's illegal. The price charged is governed by the price payed. Just because later copies were bought at a higher price doesn't mean they can charge the same price for the cheaper ones. Gas stations tried that and were fined by the federal government for price gouging. It doesn't matter that it's store policy. It's wrong!
