ripping me off

I paid off my Lowe's account, you know hardware and stuff. So, then I get a letter from them stating I am LATE on my account! Long story short, when I get a copy of the money order where I paid them in full, the account number had been scratched through and someone ELSE had putTHEIR number in place. So, someone else gets their account paid off and mine is still due? Lowe's needs to watch their employees and watch for my lawsuit also!
