Ripped Off

I wish to complain about getting ripped off by companies in the last 2 years I have been ripped off twice. Once by a plumber who nearly killed my family with his faulty work and about a dodgy structual engineer in the sittingbourne area who nearly took me for thousands! I refused to pay him as he came around my house to do a full stuctural engineer report and he walked around my house he was only here for 5/10 mins max and he said my house was subsiding which I knew it wasn't he stated he needed another £2500 to do relevant tests to confirm this but I refused. I had to get another engineers report done and he said it was not and it is not 3 years later no slanting house. Because I refused to pay him he took me to court and won because I couldn't turn up in court with just giving birth and all that. If you go into a shop and buy a tv stating it is 28' colour you get it home and it is 28' black and white you can take it back and get a refund why if a structal engineer trys to rip you off but not doing a report why do I have to pay. Seriously messed up world!
