We recently had brunch with some friends at Vinny's Diner in Carrollton, TX. When it came time to pay we gave the waitress Michelle our Visa Debit Cards. This is where the problem started, we bank and the same place as our friends so our cards look exactly alike. Michelle charged the right cards for breakfast but gave us each other's cards back. Everyone put the cards in their wallet without looking and went about their business. Several days later our friends account was NSF and we had money but could not get any out. We figured the problem out and exchanged cards. We have gone to the bank and they won't help and say it's the restaurants fault. We go to the restaurant and are greeted with 'there is not a dime coming out of this restaurant'. They will not admit their error our even offer to help with some of the fees. They were belittling us in front of other customers. We had tried to step aside let them handle the customer and deal with the problem discreetly. However the owner's daughter decided to bring everyone in the restaurant in to the situation. They were trying to tell everyone how they value their customers. I did not see any value in the way we were treated and will not darken their door again. I will make sure that everyone I come across knows how we were treated.
