Rejected Daughter

My parents have openly admitted that they would rather have my best friend as a daughter than me. In their eyes everything she does is perfect, and I'm not. She's a straight A student, I'm barely scrapping B's. She's juggling five subjects and I'm struggling with four. She passed her driving test first time, I'm not confident enough yet to take mine. My parents constantly put me down for not being perfect, they don't realise I was recently diagnosed with depression (caused by them), they think the reason I cut is because I don't have a boyfriend, yet she's in a perfect relationship. They told her about my mums cancer before they told me. I want to appreciate me. For once in my pitiful existence. I don't think they realise I'm their flesh and blood. Sometimes I feel like they should have terminated me or given me up for adoption. I'm moving out this weekend. I'm taking out my savings and going to live with a friend. They'll never hear from me again.

You sound like a loser. No wonder they like her better.

Tell them youre a dude trapped in a girls body just to piss them off. Watch them squirm, then say you lied.
