The closing date for the new house was on June 19, 2006. We drove 700 miles for the closing date, but the house looked liked it was hit by the bomb. Everything wsn't ready. It looked horrible... The builder, seller who are also lawyers, wants to sue us for trying to canceling the house contract. We feel helpless and don't know where to seek help. We are stranded in the new town without place to live. We have to rent a storage space, stay in hotel. Our furnitures are continuously delivered to the house we are supposed to move on June 19, 2006. We couldn't hold the deliveries because they have been shipped out already. I hired a lawyer today, but he said that according to the our house contract, we can't get out of it because we signed the contract of 'as is...'. If we try to get out, then it will cost us $$$. This is totally a lose situation for us.
