really bad PC security

Hello, welcome to my 2nd complaint! What is a PC user to do when security programs go haywire? One brand's 2006 version appears to be setting us up for something really sinister, like an invitation. The next version may be the invitation ACCEPTED!! Is your computer giving you a hard time due to that site's update downloads?
