My complaints is about Real World Property Management in Waterbury Connecticut. My wife and I own a condo at a property they manage. We pay a mortgage and our taxes, we just want a quiet home. The Bella Vista Condo Association hid the fact that they were proactically bankrupt. A previous property managemnt compnay pocketed money and split. Real World came in and promised neglected things would be taken care of in no time. A group of us just got fed up with paying fees and seeing nothing happen. Now David Williams of Real World and his sleezy attorney Robert Ghent are trying to foreclose our homes for past fees. They never did any work. The place is a pig sty with trash all over the property, abandoned cars with smashed windons and flat tires and a number of dangerous situations including an iron railing that is broken. This raining has sharp edges coming frm the ground and the railing. Mr Williams never returns our calls. I guess he would rather see kids who play in the yard IMPALED om that railing before things are done. The railing should be fixed becasue there is a 5 foot drop onto pavement. In my world you do the work and then you get paid. You don't threaten people's homes by saying pay up or we will take it. That's a protection racquet as far as i am concern. We have the money but need to see an honest effort before paying. For over two years we paid and got nothing in return. It's mid Juune and out lawn hasn't been mowed or bushes trimmmed. All last winter we had to shovel our driveways and sidewalks. Isn't that what we pay fees for? All we are asking is an honest effort from Real World, but it's hard to get that when the company isn't run by honest people and they hire sleezy lawyers with a history of stealing homes from mostly minority, mostly naturalized citizens who are mostly poor.
