I was 22 and had a lot of drinking driving issues - so now off to jail for 27 months. First few months were in what you'd think of a normal prison - locked in a cell all day just out to eat and hour in the yard and showers. Only clothes are orange coveralls Nothing happened here as there was always a guard near by Since I had never been into real trouble I got sent on to a nice minimum security camp. I could now get clothes sent in by my family but it would take a month or two to get through the process. He did not have an extra pair of underwear but it would still be better than these coveralls. I changed into them and he asked me to turn around there was something wrong on the back and he stuck 2 fingers in a hole in the back of the sweats and I jumped and he said he was just pointing out that there was a hole so I would be careful in the hallways as many would see that as an invitation. I said that I thought this was a minimum security and that kind of thing didn't happen here. He said that it happens more often here as there are far less guards around. I did notice there wasn't the usual guard close by. Either way I was still surprised that he had put his fingers in all the way and touched my hole when he could have just told me. I grew up in a white conservative area and this was one of the first black guys I had really been around so maybe it was just a black thing and I shrugged it off. He said that some others had already said they were going to go after me but he had told them to stay away. I had let my hair grow now for a while as I was thinking I should try to look scary but he said I looked bad and he went and checked out the barber equipment and gave me a hair cut and then we spent the rest of the day showing me around and he had some pot so we walked around and smoked some of that.
