I'm a small plumbing contractor in the Boston area. I've noticed comments/complaints from several people. I've been doing business with THD for the past few years only because the products are a little less expensive and although most products are not available the stores are a little more convenient since they are open 7 days a week. One of the best shower/bath anti-scalled products on the market called Symmons will not be available in the future......I was told by a salesperson/company rep. from the Symmons Corp that the reason Symmons shower/bath controls will not be available is because the Symmons Company will NOT manufacture the product in plastic.......to supply THD specifications.......I will be purchasing the valve from a reputable plumbing supply wholesaler from now on. Do-it-yourelfers beware of products you purchase from THD.
